It uses the active tab permission, not a broad host permission. It reads visible video page text, transcript text when available, chapters, and links.
AI help runs only when you click Improve. Captured video page context is sent to Google Generative Language / Gemini only for that Improve action. The payload can include the video URL, title, channel, visible page text, transcript text when available, chapters, links, and the local draft.
The extension stores only local counters and recent drafts in Chrome storage.
This landing page uses privacy-friendly Vercel analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track people across sites.
